1,000 Audio Samples

I finally completed /made 1,000 audio samples. Took forever. I’m kind of jazzed and feel like cranking out more, lol. …but i’ll smartly take a break. The most time consuming samples to make were the drum samples. A lot of tweaking takes place when making one-shots. Bass sounds were the easiest.

I’m planning on making more samples but those will be for a price. I tried to run the website and have it pay for itself with advertising and it does pay for itself but the money it makes doesn’t justify the time i put in. So… it’s green downloads from now on.

Download 250 free loops for music production. All have an electronic music tinge to them because that’s the kind of music i make. Some should crossover though.

Audio Production

I wish as a kid i knew then what i know now about audio recording. My life would be way different. I wish i had the interest in audio production and sounds like i do now. Time is the killer of all dreams. Time and money i guess. At the end/start of each year i always have regrets about life and past choices i’ve made. I also see each new year as a fresh start to follow whatever dream i choose. Happy 2009 to me. Good luck.

40 Extra Sample Packs

There are 250 extra samples in 40 packs now in weekly rotation for music production at Audioskull. All different types of audio samples and noises like pianos, blips and beeps. I’m going to make beat loop sample packs next. It would be great if i had them all made before 2009, lol.

300 Drum Samples

So i finished a section of my site with 300 drum samples (free). This weekend i will have to work on the 2 other sections of audio samples i have planned. After that i might make a drum loops section but i’m kind of leaning away from that because i already bought a new domain name for a full site like that. Oh, i also have to build my 500 instrument loops section. Damn, i forgot all about that. Good thing i have this blog to make me remember such things.

Weird Noise

I kept hearing some weird noise and for some reason i though it was a mouse or rat… but i found out it was only the rain from outside, lol. It reminded me of the time i recorded a thunderstorm. I got some big booms of thunder but the files where too big. I didn’t want to upload them for download and waste the data-transfer, lol. That was back in 2006.

50 Snare Drum Beats

I finally got around to making the final 25 snare drum beats for my website. Now there are 50 snare drum beats for free download. I didn’t plan on making them until next January but i was bored.

Audio site re-design

It’s a new year so i tweaked the design of one of my websites. It’s more user friendly and better looking. I still need to make/and upload a lot of content but that will all happen before Easter. Hop-fully lol. Beats

Electronic 2007

The E2007 year round up. lol. I’m rebuilding my audio website of samples. There are 300 samples there now but when i fully redesign there will be 365 samples. I thought about making 500 but that would take longer and i’m lazy. lol. When i first got the idea i thought i might make 666 samples but for various reasons scrapped that idea. Any kind of download site eats ups alot of bandwidth. So i decided to make/edit basic samples that are more usable in music production. Early 2008 will be the relaunch.

So the website i made now has 300 music samples on it. It’s doing good. I’m going to redesign it for next year. It will loose some of that 300 but in the end have more than 300. I’m already working on the redesign. It will be more user friendly than before. Keep it simple, keep it good.
